Mental Health Reset: Journal Sheet & Mid-Year Check-In

Life has been a lot lately. Between closing Neon Bloom, parenting a high-needs kid, managing my health, going to court and just trying to keep it together — my mental health has taken some hits.

So with the help of ChatGPT I created a simple “mental health reset” journal worksheet that I want to share with you — because if you’re feeling the same way I am, you’re not alone.

Why I Needed a Mental Reset

There’s this point where everything piles up — appointments, stress, the weight of decision fatigue — and you realize you’re running on fumes. That’s where I was this week.

So I took 15 quiet minutes to reflect and ask myself some real questions:

  • What’s draining me right now?
  • What do I need more of?
  • What am I avoiding?

This isn’t about fixing everything. It’s just about checking in with yourself.

I put together a simple printable worksheet you can use too. It includes:

  • Emotional check-in prompts
  • “Energy in vs. out” tracker
  • One small goal for the week
  • A space to brain-dump your overwhelm

Print it. Stick it in your binder. Or just fill it out once and toss it. It’s not about perfection — it’s about awareness.

A Few Things I Noticed About Myself

  • I need more rest that doesn’t involve screen time
  • I’m running on autopilot most days
  • I’m craving community (but also don’t want to talk to anyone — fun combo, right?)

Reminder: You Deserve to Take Up Space

You don’t need to “earn” rest. You don’t have to wait until you burn out to say you’re struggling.

If no one’s told you today — you’re doing your best, and that’s more than enough. 💛
