The Neurodivergent Parent’s Resource Kit: Books, Tools & Communities

Realizing I’m likely autistic and possibly ADHD came with both relief and overwhelm. Suddenly I had a name for the struggles—but no roadmap. These are the tools, books, apps, and communities that helped me start to feel more seen, more capable, and way less alone.

📚 Books That Are Eye Opening

  • Divergent Mind by Jenara Nerenberg
  • Unmasking Autism by Devon Price
  • NeuroTribes by Steve Silberman
  • I Overcame My Autism and All I Got Was This Lousy Anxiety Disorder by Sarah Kurchak
  • A Radical Guide for Women with ADHD by Sari Solden

📱 Apps & Tools That Keep Me Grounded

  • TimeTree – Shared scheduling that keeps our family functioning
  • Libby – Free audiobooks when I need to escape or learn on the go
  • ModivCare – Medical transportation made simple. This is an option for us as Braydin is on disability Medicaid. Check with your state and see if they have a program like this.
  • Apple Notes – For brain dumps, appointment questions, and quick wins
  • Focusmate or body-doubling playlists – Help me clean, plan, or focus without feeling alone
  • Walmart/Instacart grocery pickup – Because stores can be too much sometimes

🌐 Online Communities & Social Accounts I Love

  • @the.autistic.mom
  • @mombrain.therapist
  • @devonpricephd
  • Facebook Groups: “Late Diagnosed Autistic Women,” “Neurodivergent Parenting,” etc.
  • Neurodivergent TikTok & Reels creators with relatable humor and support

Hello everyone! I'm Tiffany Nicole, a 33-year-old proud mother of three amazing kids, two of whom I homeschool. As a cancer survivor celebrating one year of remission, I've embraced each day with renewed gratitude and purpose. My son's journey has also led me to become an advocate for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), a cause close to my heart. Beyond my family and advocacy, I'm a crafting enthusiast with a passion for creating and sharing DIY projects. This creative outlet has inspired me to start writing more and develop crafting tutorials, aiming to ignite creativity in others. Recently, I completed my paralegal certificate, adding a new dimension to my professional life. Balancing motherhood, advocacy, crafting, and my career keeps me busy, but I'm eager to connect with others who share similar interests and passions. Thank you for visiting my page, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
